Slip into the water and swim along this impressive and beautiful creature while being taking care and helped by your own friendly and english speaking local guide, and our experienced captain. Discover sweet, docile and harmless 20-40ft. long whale sharks (around 20,000 pounds / 970 kilos).
On peak season, we may find up to 40 at a time peacefully eating on the surface!
This tour includes free hotel pick up and drop-off, professional-grade snorkeling gear, drinks, food and the most important thing a personal, warm service from our well trained and experienced English speaking crew! All details below.

If you choose our Reserve Now and Pay Later Method, or if you missed signing the e-waiver, this is time to complete so.

Receive interesting information and facts about the whale sharks biology, enviroment and behavior. We’ll also talk about what to expect, do’s & don’ts to guarantee an enjoyable and safe tour.

The whole tour is offered in shallow waters and few or non-sea currents. Our guides will always have a float (life preserver) near you at the tip of your hands where you can hang at any time.

The whale sharks are commonly located 1 hour away from our marina. We’ll make this trip on a roomy, clean, stable and safe 32 ft. boat equipped with 2 motors 140HP each, dry storage.

Stay aware! We may find giant stingrays, giant turtles and wild free dolphins on our way!

Once at the Cancun whale shark area, we willl slip into the water two people at a time. Of course you'll be always supervised and helped by your guide.

After everyone is satisfied with the time spent with the whale shark, it’s time to go back. We'll have a courtesy stop at Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, where the water is so crystal clear, the sand so white and fine that you won’t believe it.

Enjoy authentic mexican made-at-the-moment fresh fish ceviche and corn chips as lunch here. During the whole tour we offer bottled water, soft drinks, fruit and power bars.

Back on the marina, after taking a freshwater shower, and watching your pictures, the van will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel.

Not included:
- Dock fee and National Marine Park tax are not included ($20.00 USD per person payable at check in). Part of the collected funds are used in Mexico for whale shark research and conservation.
- Photo and video service (optional and extra cost).
- $ 5 USD deposit for locker key (refunded when returning the key)
Activity duration:
- 8:00 am (7 hrs duration aprox).
Remember to bring:
- Swimsuit.
- Sunglasses, hat or cap.
- Biodegradable sunscreen.
- Long sleeved t-shirt.
- If taking motion sickness/dizziness relief, do it around 30 minutes before boarding.
- Towel and dry clothes.
- Cash for personal expenses and souvenirs.
Restrictions:
- Not recommended for: Pregnant women. People with back and/or neck problems. Kisd under five yrars old.
- We can Not guarantee whale sharks sightings and swimming since they´re in their natural habitat. In the unfortunate situation that we don´t find whale sharks, this will not be cause of refund.
- Cancellation policies: Refund 100% canceling 48 hours in advance. Refund 50% canceling 48-24 hours in advance. Canceling with less than 24 hours, on the activity day or not taking the tour will be marked as "No Show" and non-refund will be done, no excuse.
- Reschedule has no cost, as far as the request is made 24 before your actvity. Reschedule can not be done the same day of your activity, this would count as a No-Show, and non refund will be done.
